Statement on COVID-19 and our events

Due to the continued spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus, and the unprecedented challenges it poses to communities across North Carolina, Pennsylvania and around the world, the United States Youth Fly Fishing Team has decided to reschedule its spring clinics (April and May) and we will not be sending a Team to the World Youth Championship. This decision, though difficult, was made in the best interests of the health and safety of the team, the youth anglers, families, coaches, instructors, supporters, volunteers and the organizations with whom we work.

Conservation Efforts

The US Youth Fly Fishing Team's Commitment to Conservation

The USYFFT plans stream-side and classroom activities coordinated with local, state and national organizations and agencies to promote conservation awareness and provide educational opportunities.  The Team members and event attendees have opportunities to work on wild trout stream habitat and riparian buffers.
